In 1967 Mr. Bob Cormack and Mr. Harold Forbes, both of whom
were employees of the Dow Chemical Co., Louisiana Division, being
frustrated with the lack of quality machine work and repairs
available in the area made a decision to open their own shop.
With financial backing from Mr. R.L. "Sonny" Anderson
and Mr. C. Ray Marchand they opened FAMCO Enterprises, Inc. in
1968.
